Melissa Feinbaum is the founder and president of Miller Feinbaum Recruiting.
Melissa began her recruiting career in the early 1990’s when she joined a large, regional staffing firm and helped them launch their new accounting and financial division. A few years later, she established a partnership with a large regional CPA and business consulting group and started a regional executive recruiting firm. Today, Melissa runs Miller Feinbaum Recruiting and is focusing her search efforts on key professional positions in the area of Operations, Finance, Sales & Marketing and Human Resources. She brings over 20 years of business experience in sales, management and recruiting to the table as well as an ingrained philosophy of “the customer comes first.”
She cut her teeth in the business world after college, working with her father, Marvin Miller of Schrivers, Inc., a leading men’s and women’s retailer. Marvin and his father were very active business leaders in the Knoxville community and led the way for Melissa to follow in their footsteps. She attributes much of her success to the business ethics and standards that her father and grandfather instilled upon her
True to the family tradition, Melissa also stays active in the Knoxville community. Her involvement includes board member of the Knoxville Area Chamber Partnership, board member of the Knoxville Jewish Alliance, member of Nucleus Knoxville and former President and Educational Committee Chair of The Institute of Management Accountants. Additionally she is past board member of The American Cancer Society, past member of the Pellissippi Business Advisory Board and past member of the Association of Women Accountants, past Committee Chair of The Dogwood Arts Festival and past involvement in The Downtown Organization to name a few.
Isabel McCoy - Senior Recruiter
Isabel McCoy is a Sr. Recruiter for Miller Feinbaum Recruiting. Isabel started her career with an international recruiting and employment firm in 1997 learning the back office functions and then quickly moving into a successful and professional recruiting role.
Isabel’s enjoyment and satisfaction in recruiting comes from helping others to be successful in their career objectives and fulfilling the needs of the hiring company. She loves the challenge, the research and the problem solving that is involved in a successful placement match for today and tomorrow’s needs.
While Isabel has called Knoxville her home for the last 6 years, she grew up in Arizona attending the University of Arizona at Tucson with a BS Degree in Economics. Later on, Isabel graduated with an MBA from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration in Troy, Michigan.
Currently, Isabel lives in Knoxville with her husband Jim and their kitty Pinky. She enjoys activities with family and friends, cooking and traveling.
